Thanks for another fantastic sale!

A big thank you to everyone who came out and supported us at the sale! It was a little bit crazy but we had a fantastic time and I'd think it is safe to say we did pretty well as a group.

Here are some pictures from the sale in case you missed it. See you next year!

We're calling it the "Upper Ewok Village" look

We were very lucky to be given access to the display case beside the cafeteria, where we have set up a display to give a little preview of our work, and what will be available at the sale.

Hilary used her mad merchandising skills to put together a nice little display. Very fall-inspired, don't you think?

Abie Designs by Anne Montgomery

Anne will have fabulous hand-sewn and crocheted goodies available at the sale. She is currently enrolled in the Advanced certificate program here at Capilano. Come check out her work on November 23! We look forward to seeing you.

Time seems to be speeding up

Hard to believe the sale will be happening in just a few short weeks. Most of us are hard at work getting everything ready! We'll be posting a few sneak peeks soon, as well as some photos of our beautiful display case.

Stay tuned...

Signing off.......

It's been a fabulous two years, words cannot describe my love for this Textile Art Program. It has truly changed my life.  Come Fall I will begin the final two years of my degree in the Fibres Program at Concordia University in Montreal (along with Emily McIntyre).  I am very excited for what lays ahead.

So, I am signing off with the hopes that I will be attending the sale in the years to come as an alumni and look forward to seeing this site updated, in the many winter seasons to come, by future students.

Thanks for your support and interest in the Textiles Program Student Sale.  Come back next winter for updates on the next sale.

Ciao,

Janna Maria Vallee
